Ava had taken her strange Geode back to her room at the crystal animamates headquarters, and promptly set it upon her bed, amongst her many dearly beloved stuffies.
"What on Earth am I supposed to do with you, hm? Well, definitely gotta make it easier to hug you...oh!" Ava trills before opening a dresser drawer and pawing at it's contents.

Several weeks went by as Ava worked on her project for the geode. She would nestle it close into her side and surround it with a blanket while she played music or audiobooks and crocheted something soft and thick, and comforting.
"you're one of us now, so you gotta represent the people, you see? I want you to feel as strong and kind as the king of the orcas, the people under the sea. You'll be strong, handsome, and kind - just like a prince should be." She hummed happily, leaving a quick smooch on the top of the geode.

She finished the onesie 3 months later. She'd bought a flower styled cat tree and had it placed in her room so that when she cleaned he had a nice place to sit, and she set him there to get the onesie on.
"I'm going to name you after a famous whale. He was strong and his spirit could not be broken - Tili!"
She fastened the onesie closed and then picked up the soft geode and hugged it close to her.
"Now, let's go show Miss Amethyst your new duds!" She called cheerfully, heading out of her room to find Amethyst Dragon.

I really wanted to get this done sooner, but here we are!
Ava likes to personify most things - stuffed animals, a whole building, rocks, trees, the wind - and since she was given a new friend to take care of, OF COURSE she had to make it clothes, are you kidding? He might get cold!
Ava is excited to meet her new friend, but she also doesn't want to rush the darling. She regularly tells the geode stories at night and tries to always make sure the geode isn't lonely.
Also: Ava chose to name the geode after Tilikum, the late patriarch of lots of captive orcas under Seaworld. He had a history of attacking his trainers and being dangerous, but Ava always thought it was a cry for release, for help. So, she chose to honor the beautiful whale and let her geode carry his name in a way to help him find peace and love.
