Sometimes, giving just that can help you come through much stronger than you'd once been before...
And it's just that, which I strongly believe will possibly help in the long run! I am BEYOND OVERJOYED that Krystal even made it this far!! I nearly couldn't contain myself upon Wolf's return as a fighter, but when I even saw even the slightest official glimpse of Krystal, my heart EXPLODED!
I'm honestly so happy that this finally came to be. Sure, it isn't in the light a lot of us hoped, but you know what? I'm just gonna step up and say:
That's okay.
Chill.
It's a start.
And to all you Krystal fans out there who are still negatively hung up over whether or not she is playable... Rather than sitting there sobbing over it or screaming curses to those working so very hard on Smash Ultimate, you should continue to support your beloved Krystal, every step of the way. Enough with the "all-or-nothing" mindsets and behaviors. You're better than this, or at least you can be.
It isn't the end. It can be only the beginning.
Never give up.
I honestly, truly believe that making light of the situation as it is will further encourage greater things to happen in Krystal's possible SSB future. And in throwing hissy-fits, screaming "SHE DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER!" as persistently as you might?
That in itself is giving up on Krystal in entirety.
I'm sure that if Krystal ever even existed, she too would be disappointed in such a way to handle this. It accomplishes literally nothing, let alone what you might intend.
Let that sink in, if you will...
That said, I sincerely hope, by December, that each of you may enjoy Krystal's very reliable assistance! She kicks some real serious tail, and isn't to be underestimated, even as an Assist Trophy! >;D

It looks great.
I was hoping they'd add one of Wolf and Krystal for the next Smash Bros. Now personally I prefer Wolf and hoping for both would have been too unrealistic at this time. Therefore I like the choice they made. It's awesome that Krystal at least gets to be an assist trophy though. It's a first step in the right direction and it indicates that they may want to reintroduce her into the StarFox series at some point.

Yeah, both at present would have been a bit of a stretch considering StarFox's present standing especially. This is surely a major stride thus far, though -her being an assist trophy- and I look very forward to what sorts of possibilities it will open up for her in future StarFox (and SSB) titles to come! ^^

Ah, yes. If she makes it into new StarFox games I'd think that her chances to become a playable character in some future Smash Bros shouldn't be too bad.

Ah, yes. Interestingly enough, that was pretty much my entire thought process with this whole thing as well, for the most part! Diving in so fast as a lot of us wanted, I realize, would have been a very shortsighted decision, knowing how divided the SF fanbase is and continues to become currently. Kinda gotta ease her into both Starfox and SSB slowly and carefully, and have people see just how useful she can truly be if done right... reasonable 'increments' at a time.

I really wish she could have been a fighter, but hey, at least a portion of Nintendo isn't ignoring her. To go from just a normal trophy to a fully animate assist trophy is a HUGE step in the right direction. Not to mention Fox being included in that Ubisoft game. These are both things that will help contribute to Starfox's future. Krystal being a fighter in Smash is one thing, but Krystal playing a major role in the next Starfox game is even bigger.

It truly is a step in the right direction! They've really been playing their cards pretty well, lately, I feel. I'm honestly really excited for all of these things and look very forward to just what possibilities they may open up for Starfox in the near or far future! I'm just so beyond words right now! 8D;;

That's exactly what I thought, even though Krystal made it as an assist trophy, that's still a good thing, since that means Nintendo at least cares a bit about her, and she might indeed be in Zero's sequel
