Devilwood pushed the nest into a bowl shape, fluffing here and fixing there. It was nearly complete, as a familiar figure appeared near the door. “Oh, thank you, Neptune. You didn’t have too.” She smiled warmly at the tiger, having become much closer with him throughout her pregnancy. “I know. But.. I wanted to help.” He had brought more moss to add to the nest. Not necessarily out of love for Devilwood, but for the cubs she carried. They knew what they were, not together. She wanted cubs, it was just business. But Neptune always got excited about cubs, at least his own cubs.
