Description This shot taken on the morning of this years Summer Solstice. Heading home from our 4am wandering over the moors I had to pull up fast to catch this corker of what has become favourably known of as the God Rays (thankyou ~lakemans I really do understand why you get up so deviously early! ) streaming through the trees. Yesterday was simply one of those days when nature gave so much.

Well it was the earliest the sun can possibly rise so had to be done. Thanks to my fiance we got out of bed at an unreasonably early hour, without her this simply wouldn't have been recorded.
