If you can't think of any other sides, then have people doing the same sides. Just make them look different. For example, one is full view (body, head, legs, everything), and one is just top view. (usually from the shoulder and up, but it can start at the waist or the chest, it's all up to you) One is from a bird's-eye view (like what Jacqueline's pose is in the demo), and one is levelled view (Andrew's current pose in the demo). Action (Daisuke) or "modelling pose" (Kyouki and Jacqueline). The possibilities are endless. Just look through other people's group shots and single/group/couple drawings for pose references and such. Remember, the expressions need to be accounted for as well. You are allowed to take snippets from different times of a story and put them together in a scattered group shot.

Another idea is having everyone side by side in a group shot or just in the same room at the same moment in time. It's a little more posed and you will have to do A LOT of work for the background setting, but it's often worth it, because in the end, no matter what your skill, it looks pretty amazing. ^^

The only downside with that is that you have to be EXTREMELY patient.
