Thanks for the comment. I've been meaning to resize it. Wasn't sure of the sizing etiquette when I first signed up ~blush~ Some have theirs huge, others have theirs so small that you can barely see details. Can be confusing for a noob!

But thank you very much for you complement. I'm looking through your gallery as we speak actually. It's nice to get a complement on a photo from someone so much better, as yourself. Thank you!

You're quite welcome. If it will help, most people don't run high res (1600x1200), I try to keep mine around 800x600...pixels that is. You're in Orlando? I used to live in Altemonte Springs...now I'm in Melbourne.

That's what I tend to upload now, but I haven't gone back and resized any of my ealier uploads...because I'm lazy more than anything else ;-P But thanks for the tip. I will definately keep that in mind in the future.

Yeah, I'm in the Orlando area. Not too far from Altamonte. Thankfully, far enough not to have to fight the traffic constantly though ;-P

That's why I don't live there anymore

hehe At least I'm honest!

hehe Backroads are my friend. Less traffic, and usually a hell of a lot prettier.

I'm really going to show my ignorance here, but I'm not really sure what "change to vector" means.....

But thank you for the complement!! And the welcome!! ~smiles~

Sorry. I mean use A Corel, Adobe or Macromedia program ...say like Illustrator or Corel Draw as an example..to trace the edges of the photo and turn it into a Vector art file. From there...you can use it as a brush...shape...reuse endless times from any art form really such as Flash, Freehand and so on.
Vector files are Math in nature ( behind the scenes) and maintain clean crisp edges while being resized up or down( The math is just recalculated when its resized...you lose nothing in the way of quality). Unlike gifs, jpgs, etc
I hope that helps some...in short it was a complement: )

ahhh.....i see now. I was actually wondering how people made brushes and all that for photoshop and various other programs. LOL So you actually answered two questions of mine. Thanks!! ~grins~ And I have heard the term "vector" before, I just wasn't really sure the practical meaning behind it or how one would actually go about using it.....
