The Bliss system is a binary star system and the primary star system of the Free State of Jericho . It is composed of two stars, Bliss A and Bliss B, with the planet Jericho orbiting around the latter. The Bliss system was first settled in 2121 by the colonists aboard Reach 4, being the fourth extrasolar star system overall to be colonised by humans.Human presence has been established in every corner of the system, with advanced and autonomous colonies on Jericho and mining operations on almost every planet. Jericho alone represents over 99.9% of the total population of the Bliss system. It is the fifth planet from Bliss B and the capital world of the FSJ. At 0.6 Earth radii, it is significantly smaller than Earth, leading to a low gravity of only 0.6g. The landscape of Jericho is composed of dusty deserts dotted with small settlements and lined with many canyons and three large seas. The largest settlements are found in and around canyons as well as on the seaside.
