I'm so very proud of this right now! This is my first ever photo manipulation ever. And I did it without using any tutorials or anything. Just slowly figuring out how photoshop works.
I recently started my own stock account for my photos:

And a photomaniper you are. Great first creation. The figure is placed smoothly into the background, and the brushes are placed perfectly. I absolutely love this, and can not believe how much you have learned about ps already. I hope you hell you keep it up.

No worries, I'm hooked and I shall be doing more. Probably will start on one tomorrow night when I get home.
Remember when you said you'll find yourself staying up really late working on your art for hours. I so did that with this one. Even though I was going to have to get up at 4:00am to get ready and get to the airport in time, I was up super late till I think at least 12:00 on this.
Hey and I so still need to figure out how to increase my undo options. That's what kept messing me up, I'd go beyond something, decide to change it back but then wasn't able to go back any further. Causing 2 different redos...one I had to re-cut out her whole figure again and was that a pain in the ass!

I try! That's all I can say and it was so fun...its like when you have something you enjoy doing it comes to you easier then normal. I have to say I had great stock and brushes to work with, they really inspired me! Now if I could only do math properly, I would be set!
Honestly I am so itching to do another one already, and it will have to wait till this weekend. So stay tuned!

And don't worry about the avatar, deviant is always so weird when it comes to them. I still see people's old avatars a lot of the time in comments, etc even thought they changed there's eons ago. But it couldn't hurt logging in and out to see if it makes any difference.

I'm sitting in my hotel room, itching to do more of these, but my laptop doesn't have photoshop. But I promise I will be doing another one this weekend. I am so addicted now! To be honest, I've watched all the other photo manips that get posted, amazed at the work that gets put into them and the talent peopled have to do them. I can't wait to learn more and try new stuff, so stay tuned there shall be more!

Actually it's some great brushes. The interesting part was trying to come up with the right colours for them, so it looked more "natural".
