Description
This was an assignment from my painting class. I'm not a huge fan of landscapes or architecture so I decided to do something a bit more creative and abstract. I felt like kind of a freak since I was the only one in my class who deviated so far from the original generic assignments that our teacher gave. Thankfully my teacher only gave me funny looks without grading me down too badly.Materials: Oil paint

I think you should have gotten more points, specially since it was a generic assignment. Adding your own artistic touch to things is what art is all about.
