Well this sucks...

I wanted very badly to enter into s contest but ran into a whole lot of problems. First was that my computer stopped uploading to deviantart for some reason and that took forever to fix. I actually just fixed it this week. Then when I went to upload my entry I realized that I had deleted the finished product by mistake. So I had to redo the entire thing. I finally decided to suck it up and try to redo it and then realized that my tablet software wasn't working... it has been a nightmare. I literally through this together within the past hour so that I would have something to enter. Definitely not as good as the original but still something. Anyway, onto actual stuff...

I picked Kid to do as my character. It took me a while to figure out what song to do for him, but throughout the comic you can tell that one of the main themes of the story (or at least his personal story) is guilt and regret. He is tired of hurting everyone around him and tries to fix himself over and over again only to fail. The actual art is a bit conceptual. The top is Kid trying to be the serious and a good leader he so desperately wants to be for his "pack". Kid seems to be innocent and not all there throughout the story, but it seems to me that he is just covering up his actual feelings of guilt and fear for harming others and those he considers his family. The bottom is a true representation of his feelings.

I picked shots because it sounds like a happy song at first, but as you listen to the lyrics it gets heavier... kind of like Kid.
