this is a VERY good reference. i seriously couldnt draw wings and since you kinda showed the proportions and this specific position which is kinda hard to find, i think i finally learned how to draw wings. thanks!

Ooooh! This is very helpful! I'm trying to better my wing drawing.

One thing I might suggest for the bottom sketch though of where it connects to his back: There is nothing "wrong" with the size, but in order to make the fact he can fly more believable, you may want to stretch it from the shoulder blades (where it is in the sketch) all the way down to just above the rump. The way I've said doesn't always look the best at making them smaller is sometimes better, but for a character that -can- fly, that might work better.
