"Xiphactinus audax soup, I wonder what it tastes like?", said the Gillicus arcuatus.

Thank you: I'm always fascinated with those seascapes with the columns of sunlight peering down through the water.

Teeth seem funky...too few and too chunky. Haven't seen an image of the fish in a while though, so I could be misremembering.

Probably misremembering...
I used Ray Troll's work as one of my references, though I did take a bit of artistic license.

The teeth remind me of the sabre toothed salmon

It's just that I've had problems with facebook before.

Yeah, that's a public link, so you shouldn't have any trouble. I mostly got the facebook thing because of the photo album.

That's the one found lodged in its throat, right?

It had passed through the throat, and more into the stomach.

Sir, I approve of your taste in fish. OK, since you want critique here I go. Linework is in general very good, but in some places on the face it gives the impression of puffiness because of the concentric lines. I have no idea if you were going for that. The teeth and those little spiky things on its gills have no detail on them, and the background is pretty boring (but I can hardly talk about that). Other than that I really like it

It's in the open ocean: putting in a background of ferriswheels filled with exploding clowns would be rather inappropriate.
