(sorry for the double upload, my computer is being an ass... -_-)Just a quick animation of my dormouse Mortimer running, to see if I can animate small rodents and to see how his markings would work in motion. There are probably many flaws in this run cycle as I had to make it up (couldn't find good reference films of mice/dormice/rats running, if anyone knows good ones please share
). I spent too much time on this though, so I'm not going back to fix things like the tail and the back, sorry 
I hope it's enjoyable nonetheless!animation made in Photoshop CS3

Yeah, it's fun to do indeed.
Hmmm, good question! Pretty long, if I remember correctly, some 8 hours at least I think. I drew every frame in photoshop CS3, those versions and up have a specific animation feature that lets you make animations frame by frame. It's pretty nifty, but only for short animations.

I may, but I don't really know what to charge for them... I think that would really be decided on a case by case basis, so if you have an idea you wanted animated let me know and maybe I'll take it on

Are dormice one of the species that hops when it runs really fast, or no?
I can't help with critiquing, we only have barn mice and I don't know if they run the same.

Thank you! I don't really know actually, I couldn't find any videos of dormice running. I know that they are a tad bigger than house mice but still smaller than brown rats... So I think their run cycle would be similar to that of a house mouse, but I am not certain.

Our barn mice run kind of like hamsters, unless they're really scared and sort of do a running leaping thing,like your animation, only reallyreallyreally fast, or jumping around for whatever reason. Our barn mice weren't very afraid of people.. lol

This came out awesome! (: I love little Morty x3 He's such a cute character. And the run cycle looks amazing and his markings flow very well. My only issue is that you can't see his other hind leg but other than the the image is amazing! :3
