"First clip was of Astrid flying up and landing on a hill, this was to show he new software in action. And I have to say its so amazing what heh have done. She has a sort if fur hood which was around her shoulders and it looks like real life fur and there was a little breeze which made the fur move too. Incredible. "

Dreamworks changed so much about Astrid. Gawd it makes me so mad at times. But amazing artwork like normal :3

Wait⦠how did they change her? Physically, anyway. We all know what happened character-wise.
They made her hair longer, added another intricate braid, and flipped it over her shoulder. They wool'd up her outfit a bit which makes me think we'll be in a colder season for the sequel⦠I'm drawing a blank on anything else.

lol yes, yes we do. I think what got me when I saw Astri'd new design was. "WTF she looks like an eskimo person! OMG what did they do to my fave charecter!!!! NOOOOOO". That's exactly what went through my head. And when I saw Hiccup's new design my heart literately stopped and my roomies were like."Eww someone's got a crush on a cartoon character", and no I wasn't crushing on him, "I just like his new design, he looks...erm betterish".

Haha, I really think it was the animation style that threw people off. I thought Astrid looked super pretty despite the wide, plastic style, and when I saw Hiccup I thought 'uhhh, the final animation will fix that!' XD
