On tumblr already I'm looking at YOU repostersβ¦In light of all the HTTYD2 sequel excitement, I decided to design a five-years-later Heather to go along with them. Apparently in the new season of the TV series she's coming back to Berk to be the alchemist?

Anyways, I like this drawing! As with your other time-advanced drawings, this feels like a natural progression from her initial depiction. An alchemist? That's pretty badass! Who knows? In their world dragons exist, so maybe lead can turn to gold.

I'm glad to hear Heather will be back. She had a good reception from fans-- and having someone who looks like you keeps in the HTTYD universe, too.
Anyway, this is a neat picture and neat to see her come back as her own profession rather than a dragon trainer so she is not just another Astrid wannabe. I like how you've given her loose hair, too. That's rare to see in the HTTYD world (thanks to CGI)

Yeah, I loved Heather. I love that people had such strong assumptions that she would be used as a triangle/plot-device and she was just "Haha, nope!" She's a great side character that is our foot-in-the-door for something new in the HTTYD world.
