So, my good friend is helping out her friend with a Breast Cancer/Mental Illness awareness project (#InPink ), and I was one of the people she tagged to help out ^^ The rules were:

- Copy and paste these rules

- Draw whatever character you want wearing some sort of pink clothing

- Bases are permitted, but give credit when due

- Put "#InPink " in the title and/or the description of your picture

- Tag five other people (optional)

I decided to go with myself and my cousin, Chelsea, since it seemed to be the most relevant to the topic.

..I'm not gonna lie, I'm very inexperienced on the topic of cancer. Like, I have a vague idea of what it is, a cluster of cells that continuously go through mitosis until a tumor grows and spreads and causes many potentially fatal problems, but I also know it's also a lot more complicated than that. I've never had anyone I know well who went through cancer, and I've definitely never had it myself. So I don't have any personal or emotional experiences with it either. Which is good, obviously, but it means I can't really say anything informative on the topic because I'm certain to get things wrong. It's a terrible disease with a lot of hard work being put into ending it and I'd recommend going to a more reliable source of information if you want to know more about it.

As for the mental illness side of things, that I definitely have experience in. I've been diagnosed with my fair share of mental disorders/illnesses all my life. Back when I lived with my tyrant of my mother, I was driven into deep depression and anxiety. I've long since been able to overcome my depression after moving in with my dad and stepmom, but I still have a lot of anxiety. Though I am working through that as well.

And Chelsea’s been through her fair share of depression and bullying from years past, but that's why she and her mom devoted themselves to helping people who’re struggling with that stuff.
