He has always been one of my favorite Disney villains, even back then when I was about four or five years old (right, I wasn't scared or something, I actually used to like him even then xD).

That scene, as a child I didn't realize it but when I paid attention as an adult made my jaw drop. The best Disney villains will kill heartlessly, and give something darker for the adults to notice. Love it.
