Kusu, one of many of Shinkou Ookami's princes. Though he's younger than Arashi Sabaku, Shinkou's heir, Kusu has a very competitive, arrogant attitude that can get him into a heap of trouble. He is very playful and enjoys riding the wind with a pair of wings he likes flashing at any pretty female.Critiques are appreciated!
Quick synopsis on Kusu's breed: Kusu is a Mutatio and a Youroi, a specie unheard of unless you know about the world of Shinkou Ookami. Mutatios are usually black-furred with thick neck-fur and thick tails. They have wings, and barely harbor markings. I was trying to convey his Mutatio hereditary via the thick neck-fur and bushy tail, and of course, the wings. On the other hand, Yourois can come in any color imaginable, and quite often can be seen with markings on their faces (and I suppose on their bodies). Overall, both of the breeds look remarkably wolflike.

Wow, i love the wings, and the head, and the neck... i love the whole, it just looks so, so amazing! The only thing you could improve is what haunti said, the back legs should be abit thicker, just a bit though.

This looks absolutely astounding, first of all the pose and the wide opened wings are spectacularly done, and all that detail you've put into it, it's amazing 
- There seems to be similar colours to AveilthΓ©, and I just wonder if he is related to her in any way? Wasn't AveilthΓ© the origin to all Druins?

My only suggestion is there's some spatial confusion with having high saturated colors on areas that are receeding (head/back wing) and having dull/lighter colors near the viewer (extended wing)
Its much more effective to have saturation up front and close, if you're gonna use it, since it attracts the eye quicker than a muted set of colors.

Oh, he looks so awesome. I think the wings look fairly good but you could have positioned them just a bit better. The far wing kinda looks like a blue plant, im sorry to say that! >_<"

i cant really "show" you what i mean, but i can try to explain it as best as i can. 
Okay, the wing that is facing us looks fine. i think the "plant looking" wing should be showing like the back of the wing. instead of the side view, it would be "back view" in a way. does that make sense? sorry, i suck at explaining what im thinking >_<"

I don't know if that will work though, because Kusu is trying to do a semi-turn, as if to face us directly, while strutting his stuff. I wanted his wings at a teetering angle. I could try doing what you suggested later though and compare them. I just think with his movements, it would look odd, 'cause during the preliminaries, I almost tried that (making the bluer wing closer and seen fully). I didn't really like the results.

after all, i have NOT seen what it looked like in that way, so i cant really judge very well. okay, id like to see the difference between them if you ever to a post with both with each other or something. i dont know, im just curious to see it would work out and all that. ^^"
