so i said goodbye to ander and hello to fenris

My older brother was the same as your dad, he disliked Fenris because he found the elf annoying. While I love Fenris to pieces, lol, it's sometimes difficult playing with him on the team simply because I always had to be careful of what I said or did or else I'd get +20 rivalry. >_>
Zevran wasn't so bad, his sexual tendencies were funny. I liked Alistair just because he provided comical relief at times, but Varric is so much better in DA2 as 'witty and funny' team member. I think what bothered me was Alistair's prude tendencies, so I simply went for Zevran to get some romancing. 
We all need a sexy elf. I just feel that Fenris is almost the male version of Morrigan personality wise... and both are considered the 'mysterious sex appeal' of the teams.

Fenris and Morrigan are definitely alike, except Fenris isn't exactly as... mean as she is. o.o
While we're on this, I loved the quest with Zevran in it in DA2, but whaaaaaat the heeeeck they messed up his face. DX The elves all look better in DA2, I think, because they don't look like just really small humans. But they screwed up Zevran. It made me mad.

Allistair plays hard to get, annoyingly enough, so it's much more fun to go the easy route. ^_^ Why should I be the one wooing a prude-y ex-Templar when I have a very willingly and sexy man-elf on the team? lol.
Elves are most of the time depicted to be very handsome, or in this case drop dead gorgeous. Damn Bioware, I bet they're all loling at their ingenuity of making enticing side elf characters no matter if said character isn't necessarily good.
I will agree with that, Morrigan was just plain twisted and manipulative. I wonder if she'll make an appearance in DA3?
I thought that if Bioware took the time to make Flemeth look like a MILF they could have at least taken the time to make Zevran look the same if not better. Seriously. Perhaps they couldn't have two super hot elves in one game. XD lol

The thing I really like about romancing characters like Zevran and Fenris is their character development. They grow so much as characters, it makes me proud. 
I think a cool idea for DA3 would somehow involve Morrigan's child. They left us hanging. We don't know where she is or where her kid is.

I also want to know what happened to 'the Hero of Ferelden' and 'the Champion of Kirkwall', they do mention how they mysteriously disappeared at the end of DA2, leaving us with such a cliffy. In some way DA2 pissed me off because of the way it ended: it felt as though this was simply the prelude to DA3. 
...anyways at least I got Fenris out of DA2.

Anders pissed me off in Awakening for being an off-brand unfunny Alister, so he didn't have a good start with me in DA2. XD Although I DID start romancing him, because there were no other dudes. Then Fenris showed up with his... voice. Aaaaand that was the end of 'ol Anders. XD He keeps trying to be all "Are you sure about Fenris? He's totally a JERK and stuff." I think someone's jeeaaalllooouuusss~
I still miss Alister's awkwardness a bit though. D:

AAHAHAHHA!!! I did the same thing I was all "Mmmmm look at you Anders you hot piece of Apostate Mage!" And then I met Fenris and I was all "OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO MY BOYFRIEND NOW!" and then he told me he needed to "Be alone"
and so I dumped him for being a brood douche bag and found a sweet sensitive mage in Anders but he keeps telling me to go away because he doesn't want him (Justice) to hurt me. But I didn't go away!

AWWW if you break it off with Anders he wants you back?! That is so CUTEEEE!!!! I still love Fenris but I can't get back with him because I "Slept" with Anders (And what I mean by that is I was reading the Wiki about DA2 and I found that if you sleep with Anders or Merrill the romance is over or any thing you had with him is over like relationship) and Fenris hates Mages so I kinda fudged up...

I was in the same boat as you. I thought Anders was so handsome kinda like the way I saw Allistar for the first time. And I started romancing him.
Then suddenly Fenris shows up with that voice and I melted.
