beginning sketch. Never drew impmon before, so bear with me XDAbout an hour or so to get it like this. Not to mention trying to get a decent pose down and that tired expression -___________-
and now I am too. g-night.

lol, it took alot of practice, and a mess of screw-ups to get this far XD
But some say that I'm a natural, although there are some days I don't see it.

yeah, but I don't think it'll take you three years to get as good as I am. When I was fifteen, I could barely draw a person correctly! I think you're on your way to becoming a pretty darn good artist if you keep to it!!

Yeah, that drawing of Impmon has real potential of becoming one of the best artwork of the imp in DA, and even a great Digimon pic.

well, I could draw pretty good when i was 15, but I only drew cars. My cars, turned out awesome. My people, not so much XD But I changed that soon after through a technical school along side with my normal high school art classes. But I've been out of high school for almost three years now, seeing as I'm now 21.
It's funny, cause this update was actually posted about two years ago, so hopefully the next one will be a little sooner ^^
I've improved since then so we'll see

You had art classes? cool, i never took art classes in my life, thought i went a week to an art school... i don't think is enough to improve.
In Mexico there aren't much art classes, only painting... i wish i could more types of art classes.
Like i said before that drawing has potential.

Really? Well, theres so many art and drawing tutorials out there on the internet and here on deviantART. You're really quite good for not taking art classes, you really should think about pursuing art more even if you can't find actual classes, although I must say that painting is a great stepping stone :3

Yeah, tutorials have done so much for me, but i believe is easier to improve if there's a teacher that can help you to see your flaws and mistakes.
Becoming an illustrator is my Dream, 
Though i'd like to be a cartoon producer or an animator, XD.

An illustrator is a great dream, and you have plenty of potential.
Animation is one of those things that I absolutely love, but has eluded me. I would love to animate like Ryanide XD

Too bad, since i love his art, i wonder why he deleted his RenaImp(ImpmonxRenamon) fan art.
i know what he meant with leaving the Renamon cheesecake art, but why delete RenaImp?
Animation is cool, a real cool business, too bad that most cartoons now days are drawn in a very simplistic style.
i don't know how to animate, since right now i am busy trying to improve my drawing skills.

I'm really not sure, it's been twice now that he's done that but I guess it's up to him anyways. Not that I like it when people remove hours, probably months of work.
It's a sad thing to see animators of cartoons fall into a faster way of animating. But simplicity isn't always quality. Yes, that's an excellent focus right now. It always helps to have a solid understanding of drawing before you take on animating. Thats a whole new bag of worms.

well i adore the guy's art, as much i love yours... i am kinda getting into Digital art now that i am learning how to use photoshop.
I don't either when that happens, i heard he was a furry and he's leaving behind that stuff because he's christian... but that's up to him.
Yeah, it's true... just look at the 90's cartoons and now look a neer stuff, it's just mediocre... when i was a child i thought ''hey, cartoons were painted in cels? now with computer? it sure is gonna be cool'' but hell i was wrong, they have new adventages of tecnology and waste it on shit like ''My Gym partner is a monkey'' no offense to newer cartoonist... butr the show sucks.
I need to improve anatomy, coloring and how i use photshop, let's not forget that i have trouble to draw skyscrappers and cars, i need to improve that.

I definitely agree with you. Animation is becoming much less about quality imagery and characters and more about getting a show out there for money as quickly as possible. But most anime is still good quality work cause they spend alot of time on it.
It's sad that cartoon network has sold themselves out for crappy quality, not to mention axe toonami
There's plenty of walkthroughs and tutorials on anatomy drawing, it just takes quite a bit of practice, but taking a more in-depth look at you gallery I definitely know you got the talent ^^

I hate the show, the characters aren't funny, but annoying.
Yes, executives don't care anymore about visual quality, but getting money, heck there are not many shows with actually enjoyable characters, amazing atmosphere, good art and decent animation and the most important; PLOT AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
the only modern cartoon that has those qualities might be the greatly praised Avatar: The last airbender... but only one show isn't enough for us, they should try to do good show like AvatarLast airbender.
Cartoon Network must hate itself now, it's a very crappy channel, but i have to admit that CN is still better than it's competitors.

But you hit the nail on the head with that one, all the executives want is to profit, and well, you see their product. Yeah Avatar is really well done, I just wish there was more like that show. Bring back digimon or something sheesh T__T

Avatar is probably the best american cartoon of the decade, too bad is over... i wish the creators get to make a new avatar series.
