Well, here's Koboyashi and Tohru, a piece of fanart that I think shows off their personalities pretty okay. Although I chose to let Koboyashi smile for once. I'm really happy with this for the most part(yes, I always see negatives), it's pretty much an achievement for me, and I hope I can keep up this quality in the future while trying to up myself like usual. Really fun colouring work, I have to say I love doing lace on maid outfits. I'm off to work now, but enjoy!

hahaha, yeah. You should read volume 4 of the manga, my friend collects that manga, I can't collect it all at the same time but I'll get it someday. Either way they introduce a new character.

it looks nice , with the anatomy and shading and such.
( personaly shading with pencils is better then with pens , because you have a bigger variety of stronger or weaker colours. personal opinion )

That's true. However the strong (cartoony sometimes) shadows have a soft edge to them which does make it work for me. I use coloured pencils over the markers to achieve colours that aren't possible, like the dark blue.
