Description
Since they made a Muppet caricature of Jason for writting the movie, I was wondering what an Amy carricature Muppet would look? So yesterday, I experimented. I then added Jason & his cariacutre, too. So... here it is!Comment & enjoy!

Well, if you've seen the first 3 Muppet movies, they've had apperances by Sesame Street characters.
The Muppet Movie: Big Bird passes Fozzie's car, on his way to New York City to try to break into public television. [link]
The Great Muppet Movie: After Piggy threw Peter Ustinov out of his truck into trashcans, Oscar comes out of one, revealing he's there for a very brief cameo. [link]
The Muppets Take Manhattan: Many SS characters are seated in the wedding scene. [link]
Besides, an interview thing said that Elmo was written for a cameo but it was too expensive.

IMO, I think Elmo should be like, after Gonzo. Not too long ago there was a Q&A session where Elmo, Gonzo, and Zoe's puppeteers were all present. And Gonzo & Elmo did a fun little back and forth banter.
I wish Elmo had MADE a cameo. Not only would it have lived up to tradition (and be appropriate for TODAY considering Elmo is like the most popular SS character now), but it bet it would've been REALLY heartwarming for Kermit to hear "MR. GREEN FROOOOOOGGGGG" again! XD lol! A bit annoying but heartwarming non the less! ^-^
(And you're right, especially with the SS character guest starring on the Muppet Show. So technically, with that in mind even Bert & Ernie or Big Bird would also be good choices for the "Pictures in my Head" song. ^^)

Oh, yeah! E&B's appartment photo would be a nice touch for Pictures in my Head! Maybe Elmo could've appeared after Kermit told Whoopie, Selena & Rico to go to the phones.
Elmo: Wait-wait-wait, Mr. Green Frog!
Kermit: Elmo? What're you doing here?
Elmo: Elmo came here 'cause Elmo wants to help, too!
Kermit: Well... OK. (walks closer to screen) We had to put him here somewhere, folks. It's been a tradition. (turns around quickly as he sees Scooter walk by) Uh, Scooter! (Scooter walks up to Elmo & Kermit) Try & find an act that Elmo can be in. I gotta introduce the chickens.
Scooter: Check, chief.
And Elmo would appear taking the place of Beaker in "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
Sam (with razor): Helloooooooooooo...
Rowlf (with shaving cream): Helloooooooooooo...
Link (with comb & scissors): Helloooooooooooo...
Elmo (with ax): Helloooooooooooo... !
(Sam, Rowlf & Link turn to Elmo & gasp, Link screams & ducks under the desk)
Jack Black: An ax?! What kind of barber uses an ax?!
Elmo (looks at ax in his hands): Oops. (ducks & quickly appears with hairdryer, giggles) Sorry, Mr. Jack.
Link (peeks up, sees Elmo without ax, sighs with relief): Oh good, he's not really evil.
Elmo: What. Mr. Pig?
Link: Nothing!
Sam: Can we just get on with this?
Elmo: OK!
All: Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...!
Elmo would be singing "la-la-la-la" for his parts, his hot towel would have the Elmo's World title card & he'd sing "World of Elmo! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!" & after Jack's head shrunk, he'd be laughing along with the audience.
And maybe he'd appear in the finale with Sweetums & Beautiful Day Monster.

Ahaha!! Oh em geeeeee, I could so picture that! XD That would've been perfect! 
I know this is a long shot, but hopefully they might have like "deleted scenes" on the dvd and maybe Elmo makes a cameo there. <=] Probably not but it'd be a great alternative since he didn't show up in the movie.
But A scene like that would've been PERFECT for him!

Thanks. I think if there are deleted scenes (there probably won't be; just "Small Fry", all the fake trailers & TOO MUCH PEPE, just like all the other Muppet DVDs Disney put out), it might be just storyboards because they'd first have to ask Sesame Workshop before filming of course.

( I was kinda shocked that ya know: Pepe, Rizzo, and Gonzo have gotten a bit more attention on web videos but didn't do a lot in the movie. And I was banking on Animal breaking his "control" and going WILD AND CRAZY like he usually does! But...he didn't. lol!)
But yeah, you have a point about them getting Sesame's permissions

Gonzo & Rizzo I like. Pepe's the only Muppet who's gotten on my nerves. I'm glad he was only shown for Piggy's dressing room scene & Kermit's ending speech. THAT'S what made it seem more like an original Muppet Movie.
But still, like I said, it'll only be Small Fry, their parody trailers, OK Go's music video, a Pepe behind-the-scenes tour & these "bloopers" [link] I use quotation marks 'cause half of these "bloopers" were written & made before filming.
