28′
BuildLarge/Skeletal.
SkinNone.
EyesNone. White rings inside his skull allow Cassiterite sight by unknown means.
GemIrregular pentagon cut White Quartz in forehead. Crystal growth of Cassiterite juts from the side of the head.
HairNear white mane-like hair.
OutfitPartial Sunstone loyalty. Ethereal void like robe. An infinite depth of field floats inside the cloth that drapes this being’s body. The husk like heads of warped, fallen gems coagulate on the surface of the void robes, while others adorn his shoulders as pauldrons.
PersonalityCold. Unfeeling. Deep sense of self-interest. Cassiterite finds peace in the abysmal night that plagues Hyperion. The dark created him, and so it serves as his home. Those who fear it serve him no purpose.
WeaponBeast-mastery. Born with a curious ability to claim dominance over the strange native creatures, as well as the corrupt gems that wander the darkest corners of Hyperion, Cassiterite is known as the Mad Lord of the Pitch.
Tremendous strength imbued to him by the countless quartz’s absorbed over the millennia makes challenging Cassiterite suicidal to all but the kingdom’s mightiest warriors.
FeaturesSeen as both an oddity and a plague on the nature of Gem kind, Cassiterite was grown and created during the abysmal night of Hyperion. Cassiterite’s form was forged by darkness rather than light, having never been given it’s touch. With no true body, the pitch mass wandered before happening upon an ancient Hyperion White Quartz. With a new host body, Cass quickly made himself a home in the unsuspecting warrior’s body, twisting it to fit his own desires. With his new found strength, Cass made quick business of any and all adversaries, absorbing them as well until his power rivaled only the Crimson King himself. No one knows quite how The Mad Lord tainted these gems so deeply that the light of their bodies calcified into the skulls and bones that adorn his robe and make up his stolen form.
