Description ***EDIT: Softened Eärwen's face shape a good deal, particularly the harsh cheekbones and chin, and the lips a little bit. Like it MUCH better now.

Two more for the family tree, though after these two I may take a break for a bit to work on art I owe other people. Again really like both of these.

I love Caranthir's red face. So much. (For those who don't know, his mother name is Carnistir- "red face." OOC: What a terrible, embarrassing thing to name your child...) His hair is intended to be a darker brown than this, but this is as dark as I could get with the low opacity. Still like it though.

Eärwen was fun too, though oh my god her face did NOT like me for a while there, had to almost completely redraw it. Wanted to give her a lighter, shinier "starlike" silver hair than Míriel, and pinker skin. As a Telerin princess, I imagined her with strings of pearls twisted into her hair, so that's what I ended up going with. Also, she is revealed as the source of the evil nose!!! (XD)

Her chin is a little strong, I know. XD When I get all of them done and compile them, I may go back and fix it, but it doesn't look that bad to me.

I imagine myself with somewhat softer features, but the hair is great!

Haha, I think these are soft features for this style. XD I dunno, I always saw the Vanyar a little softer, the Noldor the strongest features, and the Teleri kind of in between. I dunno, I ended up liking this. XD Haha, glad you liked the hair though!

I might be able to, though I have an evil pile of homework tonight. T_T

I think I mostly agree with you. I think I view the Vanyar as the most "perfect" among the elves, the most like the Valar; the Noldor are definitely proud and therefore strong features fit them well, and the Teleri I view as strong, a bit naive, and having softer features than the Noldor. Still, I imagine Earwen softer.
This braid will take half an hour to be made, lol... XD

I just love Caranthir here. As the others said, his red face is wonderful. His expression really fits his character, and I like his hair! (Though the brown was a bit of a surprise at first, since I've gotten used to seeing him with purple hair... )

Earwen's lovely! Her headpiece is soo pretty. The "starlike" hair really works! ( So SHE'S the one with the nose....)

Awwww, Caranthir is just I always loved his red cheeks He could be a little bit more dark-faced but he's wonderful anyway!!! When thinking of Caranthir I always have in mind "Caranthir the Dark", so I imagine him a little bit more dark-skinned. And his expression suits him really really well!
I love that you gave Earwen a very light blue..dress(?) It's a dress isn't it? The color goes great with her hair. And the pearls in her hair is a great idea.

Haha glad you like him. See, I think it says somewhere he was called that because of his dark hair (which is silly since the Noldor almost all have dark hair XD), which is described either as black or brown in different sources. XD His skin is a little darker than the others I've done, but I dunno where he would've gotten dark skin- it said that he had his mother's "ruddy" complexion, and I don't imagine Nerdanel with darker skin, so...yeah. XD

Haha yeah, it's a dress...I was too lazy to draw a nice neckline, so maybe it's a nightdress or something. XD Or a robe. But thanks!

Haha that should work. I'm looking for another one for con next year, the one I had this year had this huge sidebang that I had to pin up under it, and it took forever and fell out all day. There's this one woman who went to DragonCon as Galadriel for years, and her wig literally looks like the movie- I've looked for what it is, but I can't find it.
