I'm very impressed by all your creatures, their designs are so bizarre and unique yet totally believable. I prefer to not comment much, but I thought I'd express how much I love these particular three animal's mouths and colours (and how cohesively they, and all your creatures fit into your world's evolutionarily timeline!)
Your works are very inspiring to me (working on my own world now with dragon-like creatures since I love dragons XD ), I love how you incorporate anatomy realistically yet create such fantastical creatures. Thanks for sharing your awesome art and designs with us

Thank you so much for commenting.
The comments give me the push to refine and upload these works.
Creature design brings me great joy, especially believable creature designs.Β
Speaking of evolutionary timelines i am in the process of planning a taxonomic chart/timeline for creatures designed and not.Β
Id love to bear witness to your world should you develop it, i love reading about or listening to peoples ideas.Β
Its a pleasure to share my works with folks who like worldbuilding or spec zoo

It'd be super cool to see a taxonomic chart of all your creatures - I'd imagine that'd be quite a huge task!
It's always great to see fellow artists drawing what they love, and I'm especially a fan of speculative zoology and worldbuilding
My idea for my world is still very much in development, lots of holes here and there, but my species (only determined 3, at the moment - designs based loosely on traditional western dragons) have a social hierarchy between each other that I'm concentrating on, currently. I'm debating having humans in the mix, but if humans were to enter the world I wanted to explore the way they view the different animals or 'aliens' and how they fit between the creature's hierarchy.Β
I'm happy my comment can encourage you to continue uploading works

I know right. There's some I've seen that don't have quite as much species design but there's so many historical stories.
Somewhere, in an alternate reality that film collection exists and it's named something else with the initials DA. Dreamer Array? That works.
Dreamer Array, the world's of of those who dare to dream. Episode 1 Idris. And the unifying premise is that it's a giant space station, built in a future where art and imagination and creativity have gone away in favor of things that more reliably make money, by the last human dreamer where he recreates the worlds that inspired him as a child. And this guy describes how he used to feel reading the stories and looking at the artworks as well as describing what the creatures are doing in the world they inhabit. "There were elements of the Sucan that made me uncomfortable looking at the artworks, in a good way, it was the feeling I imagined I'd get looking at real alien life. Some elements are clearly familiar, the feathers, feet, eyes, but the way this mother instructs her young with the wiggling of brightly colored tentacles and a gentle push."
Damn now I'm sad that this video isn't a thing.

What cool looking alien whales! Wh-aliens, even! (The pun came to mind, I had to find some way, even if clunky, to deliver it)

aah, that makes me happy, keep drawing, I've been it for about 18 years. Some people get even better than me in less time. Just believe in yourself and push your boundaries.

Iβll certainty do that!
Also, do you draw digitally or by hand. And in the case of digital, what program do you use?

Avian-king In reply to TimTheDragonRider [2019-07-09 21:18:29 +0000 UTC]
Yes, I draw traditionally to hone ideas faster, but finish everything digitally. I draw digitally mostly and to do so I used to use SAI 1-2 Now I use Clip studio EX exclusively.Β
