So I have procured a book called "Designing Creatures & Characters" by Marc Taro Holmes.The books is super interesting and gives you prompts/projects with achievement badges and whatnot that help u build up your portfolio and learn design skills and workflow.
This is the first Project in the book. The project entails that I design a "generic clean skeleton" and 3+ tangent creatures built from it. i was gonna do 6 and get a bonus acheivement but i decided to stick with these or now.
1. Skeleton
2. Ring tailed Mongoose-cat
3. Monkey-tailed Squamate
4. Mustuli-Strigi
5. Bichir-cat
The skeleton ended up lending to a very arboreal-looking creature set (bar the Bichir-Cat
next up is to post the presentation drawing of my fave creature.
