The overall mood is very nice. I can tell that you're going for a wispy, dreamy atmosphere with this piece, and you've managed that quite well.
However, to make this even more prominent, I suggest making the character more translucent. The hair could lose its opaqueness gradually, things like that. You can decrease the overall value of everything to make it look 'softer'.
Another tip is to not have hard lineart to have the character ever so slightly blend together with the white background. I see that you have that contre-jour type of lighting going on and making the edges even blurrier will make it softer.
The highlights of the hair could also be done with a colour on Overlay mode, instead of pure white on opacity.
Some parts of the hand where it's supposed to jut out does that a bit too much, making it look like he has broken bones or something. The joints of his fingers are also too exaggerated and his fingers look too stubby as well. Maybe try learning more about hand anatomy.
But overall, I really like the way you did with the 'feel' of this piece! Really good work.

Hello, I found this in "More Exposure".
DanielaIvanova already found more things in this than I would've noticed. I certainly wouldn't have picked up on the anatomy issues in the hand. The overall shape got me fooled just fine. Overall, the picture works for me. It's visually appealing, the limited palette and shading give it a certain style, and the pink smoke makes me instantly think of romance. The way the smoke floats around gives it a sense of depth.
The eyes are very beautiful, and I know from experience that an angle like that is really challenging to draw, yet it doesn't look distorted to me. I love the shape of the neck, especially the Adam's apple. A lot of people cut corners when it comes to necks, but not you. The hair is also beautiful. I think it might have been better if the highlights were another color than pure white, and like Daniela said, they do look blurry. I like how the hair peaks lower on one side of the central line, because that often happens in real life as well.
A couple of things I noticed: The cigarette is disproportionately small, making it look like the guy is a giant. The ear doesn't look quite anatomically correct, although I'm not sure how much it varies between people.

I really love that piece ! It's really neat and captivating. And the pink smoke is a really nice touch !Makes me wonder what he might smoke that would make pink smoke tho.
Anatomy wise, I have almost nothing more to add that hasn't already been well explained by Danielalvanova. Exept for the ear maybe ? It kinda feel to far from the eye for me, but it really doesn't affect the overall impact of the drawing !

Hey! Found your drawing through ProjectComment and absolutely loved it so here I am commenting on it. I fear I don't have much critical feedback to give since I find the piece already really well-rounded as it is.
I'm usually not a fan of the anime look but you have something vey special and unique here. The face isn't a victim of most of the classic anime tropes, instead has its own distinct look that's a bit distorted and weird and all the better for it. What I find outstanding about that look are the slim, sleek lineart that gives it an elegance, the solidity and roundness of the shapes and the minimalist shading. The only obvious and distracting thing I found in the image that breaks the style are the blurry highlights on the hair - I think if they were sharp and glass-like they would have fit better. I do like the shadows, though, especially the fact you make them lean a bit towards blue - that gave them a lot of interest.
Now let me discuss one of the main elements - the hand. I realize you must be going for a distorted and exaggerated look so only consider my suggestions if you'd like it to be more realistic. The line that cuts the base of the thumb shouldn't be there - that is one single muscle that shouldn't be split vertically like that. The lines of the wrist shouldn't be curved like that but straight since they define the edges of a flat band-like ligament. The middle finger has one too many joints - maybe the second one at its base is supposed to be the index finger's knuckle? It's unclear.
And a couple other things - I think the eye that's closer to us should be a bit bigger, especially compared to the farther one due to perspective. And finally, I think the portrait might look a bit better if it had some more negative space around the head, to let it breathe so to speak. It might be something worth trying out.
Once again, I think it's overall an absolutely fascinating piece. It personally reminds me a bit of Perfect Blue's style in that it has these wavy distortions. I find that very appealing and interesting and I hope you choose to pursue this style in the future.
