Funny way I ended doing this:-Been playing Ghouls n' Ghosts and finish it.
-Search in Wikipedia for some other GnG games
-Find out that one particular Red Arremer named Firebrand got his own games.
-See videos in youtube about the snes version
-Download it, play it, beat it, LOVE IT
-"Gee I wanna draw that guy! mmm... the shadows I did look like from a comic book"
-MAHVEL BAYBEE
-The first time I end the picture I dont like it because it looks ugly and out of proportions.
-Draw it again properly and FIN
Seriously, I'd love if they add Red Arremer, Specially if it is the Demon's Crest incarnation (I didn't like the moveset he had from SvC chaos). He'd have so many cool attacks. His theme would be from the title screen or the first level one, either two are great. I liked the enemy from the games Arma and Phalanx too.
I'm not sure if the red arremer joker that appears in namco x capcom happens to be Firebrand... They do mention crests in some part of the game, but it's vague.
I did my best to imitate the style of the artwork of MvC3, I think it looks pretty good.

Awesome job. You can see Firebrand in the game at the Ghosts n' Ghouls background stage... but it would've been more cooler if he were playable.
Also, Demon's Crest, one of CAPCOM's best games.

To answer your question, the one in NxC was indeed the same Firebrand we all know and love. Shame he dies towards the end of the story.

You're welcome. During the final conversation with him, Morrigan explains to the others who the hero of the Crest Wars actually is and what he did. Joker claims it all to be true, so yes. Sucks he actually dies. He should have joined the team and helped them so that the Infernal Village could be saved.
Exactly, he should be in his Demon's Crest incarnation, clearly his best version. It would make for some interesting battles

Gargoles Quest on the nes & gameboy was a masterpiece. A shame he didnt get his showtime in a fighting game by capcom yet
