Something I did today, while being kicked away from the computer.An image from a weird dream last night came floating back to me in my bored state of mind, and since my crayons were placed somewhere very close, I started to draw the thing of my dreams.
It reminds me of a horse. It kinda looks like it, anyway. Except...horseriding would seem a bit...er..painful, to say the least.
Oh, and the things on it's forehead are coming out of it's skull, just so you know.
Hmm.. Come to think of it, I don't know why or what they are doing there.
...
Dreams are weird.

Still, with human faces I´m no good. Don´t really know where I´ve to put the shadows and all..

Well, just try doing a self-portrait or a referenced drawing of a face. That did the trick for me to understand how it looks, at least somewhat and in regard to my face, but I believe it'll help with further drawings too, especially if done more than once

Hmm.. I do believe you´ve got a point there..
I live near a riding-school, and until a couple of months ago, I always walked my dog around its vicinity, around the time they let the horses out in the meadow. I used to sit down, let the dog run around, and just watched the horses move around, studied them, what their feet looked like, their proportions, how their muscles flexed and were situated, where shadows fell.. I learned a lot doing just that. Of course, I can still use a lot of practice..

Yah, wouldn´t want to ride on it either.. But it´d be cool to see such a creature for real! I absolutely love horses, but they are kinda...plain.

let's not give up! If we put some make up on him and a ribbon here and there he'd look fantastic (for the contest I mean) but I like it more this way, more natural, more cool!
