Haven't been submitting anything in a long while, so I thought it was about time..

I started with a simple sketch of our guinea pig, Tina, when I had nothing to do for a couple of minutes and decided to draw something. A couple of days after, I looked over some tutorials about how to make fur, and started coloring this pic. I always thought making fur was hard, but after this tutorial I realized it wasn't difficult at all!

At first I didn´t know what background to add, but in the end I settled with our grassy backyard, where Tina, when it´s warm enough in summer, walks around loose.^^

Anyway, I hope you like it! I am rather pleased with how it came out.. for a first try at doing fur, at least.
