GO GO POWER RANGERS!Power Rangers are cool. I don't care how old you are. But the coolest version was the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
I decided to do a "reboot" version, designing the characters to see what they might look like if the show was done today.
I'll colour these and do up their badass costume counterparts this weekend when I have some spare time.

I love it. Your style alone really has that california teen look to it. I don't even know if that's the right way to explain it, but that's how I feel. I love that you didn't stick with the stereotypical asian look for Trini and you gave Jason a surfer vibe. I would love to see these guys in a different group pose?
The only critique I would say I have as far as something constructive would be with Kimberly. I feel like the scarf looks amazing but it hides her face a little too much. And that's a small qualm that I have just because I love your facial style and I would hate to hide it with all her hair and accessories.

I must admit, this is very impressive. It captures the spirit of the original characters and series. Points for nostalgia. The only bad things I have to say about this are (Unless there are other pics like this):
1. It needs to be in color.
And most importantly:

I was thinking about drawing a cartoon version of the rangers myself! This looks great, looks like a lot of love went into making these designs! Drawing the rangers is always fun, brings you back to simpler days.

Oh my god, this is awesome! My entire fourth grade was dedicated to this show but I still watch and love all Power Ranger incarnations. Great re-interpretation, man. This would make such a killer cartoon.
