I think I can detect that the haze in the TG section has a pale green almost blue tint,.. next time, take a sample from the image's colour palette to get a better tint which is a little more in keeping with the weather conditions and higher-altitude haze,.. ok, so what you've one here is pretty good, it just needs a better colour match with the sky you're adding in to help better create the illusion of photo-realism. Also, some better cropping, framing and some light tweaks on water-surface rendering would also help with the photo-realistic illusion. At the moment the water looks like liquid mercury,.. water is not ALWAYS translucent I know, but to make it so it looks like it has some physical depth will help your illusion. Oh and I'd not recommend having the water's edge so close to the camera unless you're very good with shore-spray attributes - the sharp edging is just too, 'digital'. I hope that helps for your next piece.

r3plicant, thank you so much for these comments, this is probably some of the most detailed feedback I've gotten on a piece in the 5-6 years I've been on DA. Now that I look at it, I can see that the colors are off where the sky and mountains meet. As far as matching the overall colors of the TG landscape with the photoshopped sky, do you have any suggestions on how I should go about doing that? My first thought is to open up the clouds in Photoshop and use the color picking tool to get some overall RGB values, and match those with the RGB colors in the atmosphere settings. I know there is a function in PS that matches the colors of two photos for you but I've had mixed results with that. If you don't mind, could I send you a message when I make some changes so I can see what you think?

You're welcome. You're almost there, yes. Just open your sky in Photoshop, (assuming you use that to base a TG piece on), go to the Filters tab, find the Mosaic filter and, 'mosaic', it. Look at the colours in the newly formed squares, (average sized squares so you can see a wide-ish range of colours but not too few that you only get a small handful of colours), of colour and think which you want to have your haze coloured. Pick a colour from the square you like the colour of, read its hex-code from the colour picker window, (FFDDGF, or ABD3D5 for example), and paste that into your colour picker in TG for the haze. Make sense? That should help you get a better colour match. Don't forget, the Light Decay haze will affect the colour of the Simple Blue haze. Just upload your work for the Terragenius group, (I should get it in the list of recently submitted-works-of-others I get to view each day), and I'll leave a comment or two to help where I feel I can.

A little more visible features in the shadows and this would be PERFECT.

Spot on with the terrain and materials used
