Description
A short comic I did to show how believers' opinions are treated around the world. I don't want to/will not listen to anyone who says "but, ya'll are the ones shoving your 'religion' down our throats" or "it's a free country". Yeah, it is a free country and there are some christians who give us a bad name but that doesn't mean that our opinions don't matter because its not the popular opinion. Sin is sin, evil is evil, whether you want to acknowledge that or not.ΒWe deserve the right to say what we believe as much as you do! All over the world believers are killed because of what they believe in, which is the one true God, who gave His only son's life for us, so that we may have a chance to repent and live eternal life with Him. You think its fair to beat up on believers and rip up bibles that don't like everything you like or support what you support? You need to grow up! We're not gonna let you control us like an immature kid who doesn't get what they want. NO!
If you don't agree with us
TL;DR : respect each other's opinions even believers' opinions.
By the way, I'm not gonna be having anymore bible arguments in the comments. It was immature of me in the past to do that. The bible tells us not to try and reason with a fool because they'll just keep going against you. So, if you have an opposite opinion, just hit the back arrow or state your opinion, kindly and maturely.

I respect your opinions, Aw0, although we may be different, I am not mad at you for having different opinions.
I understand that disagreement =/= hatred, and that is why I am not mad at you for having a different opinion . I am not going to force my ideas down your throat, I respect what you believe in even though our opinions are different.

I'm bi, so I should be completely against you, but I won't be.
You do actually have a point. Too many people are quick to judge Christians as bigots when a majority of them really aren't. It's destroying the image of Christianity and, by extension, spirituality.
I may be a fairly worldly guy, but even I can recognize the importance of having spirituality in your life. I sure don't want it gone.
And of course, you rather hit the nail on the head with the whole "gay popularity" thing. It seems like being gay is all the rage nowadays and honestly, I really have an issue with that. I don't want to be a cover model for a "bold new era", I just want to be me.Β No strings attached.
Oh sure, your opinion that we're sinning is not welcomed in the slightest and it really rustles my jimmies, but if you'll respect me, I'll respect you.

These kind of comments get my attention. (Sorry if my response is kinda long lol)
See, so many people nowadays seem to forget that not everyone is going to be open to everything just because society deems it "ok". Then they twist what we say and spread lies that we all hate them simply because we don't agree with that kind of lifestyle. That's just stupid and immature. I'd never flame a gay person because they chose to live that way. Do I think that's a good lifestyle? No. But, is it their right to do what they please? Yes.Β
Even though I have strong feelings against sin, I do not have the same feelings towards the people who do things deemed sinful. I don't always get things right either, so its not like I think that I'm above anyone. But, I do strive to make choices that please God. Besides, a person is still a person, whom God cares about. So, since He hasn't thrown them away, it wouldn't be right for me to do so. In doing that I forget that God can change the hearts of any one and they too can become an ambassador for Him, spreading His message throughout the world. And just plainly the fact that He loves them too, not just christians. He wants us all to be with Him, but not through force.
The only reason we believers(the real ones, not the ones who are just religious and actually are hateful towards people aren't christians) spread the gospel, warn people of eternity in Hell if you die in a sinful lifestyle, try to help others see the error in their ways and come to God is not because we want them to go to Hell. No way, we want them to join us, and find eternal life.
(To keep this short & not bore you, I won't go in to full detail what all this means.)
I don't look at LGBT supporters and see them as scum. I just see people, who need God's love just like I do. One thing that does upset me is how rude some people can be about their opinions. And how hard they make it for those of us who do not wish to be apart of their movement. Like, you just don't imprison someone or humiliate them for being on the opposite spectrum. People who do that really need to be educated on what freedom of speech is.
And thank you for being a respectful individual.Β I respect you as well.Β

Yeah, people nowadays can be extremely... Vocal, to say the least. Especially with opinions. You look at a youtube comment section for almost any religious video and you see hundreds and hundreds of people idiotically bashing any religion they can get their hands on.
While I will admit that religions can have flaws that some people exploit and turn into something completely awful, (i.e. "the war on terror", ISIS and the Westboro Baptist Church) it pains me to see people demonize religion and make wide and rash assumptions about its followers using cases such as these as justification.
However. I have seen almost no cases of people not supporting gay marriage being labeled as haters of homos. If anything, such people are labeled as ignorant and anti-progressive. Perhaps the boldest of LGBTQ members might label you as the former, but if they do, I have yet to see any examples.
Anyway. Glad we can actually have a civil discussion on this, unlike previous comment wars. (Looking at you, Kiara-Michelle)

I may have commented here already, but, I think an even better ending for this comic could be like this: Imagine perhaps after everyone has walked away from the girl, a young man, who secretly heard everything off-panel, walks up to the girl and agrees with her, immediately becoming her friend, and suggesting to the audience that another "hetero" relationship is about to begin.

Last night, I went with my friends in the Christian Fellowship of my college to camp for the evening, and a particular subject that was touched upon by our preacher during the lecture was marriage.
I learned, though I don't know why I never thought of it before, the greatest reason of all of why we ever marry: a marriage between a man and a woman is an emulation no less of a relationship with God.Β
Why? Because we serve our spouse, like our Lord, out of delight as opposed to duty.Β

Really straightforward and cute little comic you've made
I agree completely. I find it funny how so many people say they want to have 'freedom of speech/opinion' until there's someone else that contradicts their own opinion. Then suddenly you're the one who is offensive
Good job, and keep it up
God Bless you

Thanks Β
Yeah, it amazes me. Calling us bullies and haters for not supporting their opinions yet we still respect them as a person, even though we tell them over and over again, that we don't have any bit of hate towards them.
Its super childish.
I will thx again!

ummmm what a mean girl on the right. I mean... For crying out loud cant there be any respect for anyone?! I hate that feeling of discrimination!! I don't believe in a God, but what you said right there is sacred. Everyones opinions must be respected even if it doesn't Β always make sense. Also, the picture you created there was pretty much what is happening. Not always of course, because there still are cases where people are being harrassed only for being gay or even bi or asexual. But lately I see that alot, straight people being ridiculed for being straight. And that hits me really hard. Good job.

They ought to do so. And this is said by a 15 year old, which really give you a hint about the general maturity of people. Nevertheless, opinions are opinions, as you said, and they are to be respected. And again, good job on the drawing! :>
