Why do people do these sig tutorials? It not really teaching good design to people. Anyone can spend 20 mins making a sig with a few shots cut up and layered in. Teach some layout techniques, grid systems, typographical play, heirarchy of information, discuss optical centers and narative, not the cheese and bubblegum stuff that we see on a million tutorial sites.

first they will know how to make these "easy" then we will teach them that "hard"

What I'm saying is, put a twist on it rather than just another "sig tutorial" I don't know "all these designs" as you put it, and never will. There is no such thing as the perfect design and no one who knows everything about design, I'm saying that if everyone does the same thing design gets bland. The piece you did looked nice and is actually different looking to what most people use as a sig. Change the focus is what I'm saying.

I hope you dont think I've been trying to flame you, because I'm really not, and yes it is important to help others learn things that latter become easy to someone. I remember cutting everything out for about three years using only the eraser tool until I saw a tutorial on how to use the pen tool. I'll keep an eye out for your next post
