I think the reason why you think the hair styles look similar is because this chibi-style is hard to make things look.. detailed xD if you'd look at other pictures of the same characters, you'd see that they're actually not that similar :3
and I have other characters too with different styles, but at the same time I don't think that's your concern xD so.. ehehe :U but thanks for the.. i dunno.. tip? :>

Well looking through some of your most recent characters and work, their hair seems to also do the same sort of things. They seem to have a fringe that comes from either the left or right of the forehead. To me, there doesn't seem to be much of variety in the hair styles that you use. I haven't seen anything that I would define as curly hair or even very short hair.
I hope none of this is coming off as harsh, I know I am no artist but I do try my best to give my opinion on such matters. You're of a much greater skill them me but I still think you have room to improve and become even greater.

I do have a curly one, actually! :3 But I haven't drawn him on the computer.. uhh. And I had a short-haired character before but I didn't like drawing that kind of hair and that's the reason why I don't. So he kinda died... orz
The reason I draw fringes coming from either left or right is because I think it looks good and I enjoy drawing it and can feel comfortable with the result. I don't want to draw something that I don't think will look good in my style or that I'll get frustrated while drawing.
But yes, it was kinda harsh and I feel a bit offended but that's okay. I see your point :>

Well no, you don't need to change these ones just keep in your mind that next time you create a character, think of something new for them.
