I'm not sure I could give advanced critiques on this, but I can tell you what I like about it.
I love how it gives the feeling of being a gateway between two worlds and makes you wonder - which is the real world?
Where does the road go? Where does it come from from? Who's at either end?

I don't know what makes a good manip, so please take these comments with a pinch of salt.
My main thought was - make it bigger. I'm struggling to see the details.
There's a stark contrast to me between the predominantly green of the arch and the predominantly blue of the lane. Maybe that's intentional though, but it makes them look disconnected and slightly surreal.
Good idea to have the girls head overlap the arch - it helps connect the arch with the path.
Couldn't discern a story, or any stand-out theme, but again - maybe there isn't meant to be one.
Doesn't have any 'first-time' look about it, nothing wrong nor jarring to the eye, looks as though you have been doing it for years. Visually attractive - perhaps if I could read what it's saying a bit better, I might enjoy it more (but I'd rather that, than have it too obvious or single faceted

I didnt have a theme for this, Its really just a mish-mash of images.
and yes there is meant to be a distinct difference between the archway and the graveyard in the background- like two different worlds.

For being your first manip, it's wonderful. I can't see anything wrong with it but at such a small size that tends to hide any mistakes you might have made

It's gorgeous! I love the idea-but I cannot give you[Technical-Help-*smiles*, still "learning this digital stuff, myself]...I can only add, to "watch your lighting"? You understand, where there's doorways, depth, and spaces-the light and darks-have to modulate...?
