Honestly I think she stole the rejuvenator. It would make not much sense for a court jester to take on a weapon so dangerous. She probably took it after the war. I'd say some unseen gem like...Tourmaline or something

In some sense this may be logic, but this would be better if they do that because if a gem poofed his best friend they would canΒ rejuvenate them.
After that the fate of the gem is being shattered(And what a worse fate than to die from combat inexperience and believing that you are innocent) and theyΒ would remain pure
because in a sense that would show her loyalty.
