It's so whimsical! The character's expression is also priceless.

I really like this composition too. It's a tight crop but it flows well to tell a cute little story, while also adding a little mystery (who is that alien creature in the background? And what are its intentions??   ). The lighting serves its purpose well enough, adding some more whimsy as well as some drama.

As for suggestions, perhaps some more texture on the meteors will add some depth, especially on the meteors in the foreground ("closest to the viewer/camera").
You could probably play around with some blurring effects as well. For example, the meteors in the foreground could be more blurred out - this will add more focus onto what is most important in the middle-ground. The meteors in the far background could also have a more blurred effect to serve the same purpose of keeping the focus on the middle-ground.

I REALLY like this piece of artwork, i like the cartoony, little kid-like feel i like the shading, not to much, but not to little. The guy kinda reminds me of brandon from pokemon, buy cartoonified. I like line art and i especially like your style. i HIGHLY suggest doing more digital art. I remember a time when my family just moved and we had a bunch of leftover boxes, so what i did was i painted on it and I made it into a rocket and made a little handle to go with it and it was like i was IN space, when someone can connect to a piece of art, then you can tell that, well, its a piece of art (a good one). some tips you could use to improve your art is to add a little more detail. I like the fun, playful, art style you have, but if you added more detail that would make this art upgraded to the next level.

I really like the message here! It reminds me when I was a kid; and I'd spend hours with my friends running around the backyard pretending we were cops and robbers, or gladiators, or in outer space The composition is great too, with the placement of the character and round asteroids giving off a feeling of floating
