Description
How it all began was after I created Sonya Dreemurr in 2019, I also started working on the next generation. It was initially going to be called Hearttale and Shanks was the protagonist, with W.D. Gaster as the antagonist. But after the summer and rediscovering The Pebble and The Penguin and adding other characters from other Disney and Don Bluth movies, I started working on it again. It was then changed to New Undertale after more lore was added in, and Samantha became the new protagonist, with Maleficent and Demise as the antagonists (though Maleficent is technically an antihero in some instances).

The design and art style of the characters changed quite drastically (in a good way). Shanks, Samantha, Sonny, and Krissy were changed from tweens to teenagers, and their outfits were updated as well. Mariana, Uriel, and Anna were changed from young kids to teens and their design was also updated. Many characters were archived after the next gen was reopened. Some characters included two new monster kids, Grillby's granddaughter Sparky, Little Blooky, and Muffet's five daughters Joelle, Amy, Beth, Meg, and Margaret. Ariel and Jane weren't created until 2020, along with Bonnie. SJ and Dawn were created in 2018, though I'm still looking for my old art of them.

There's a prequel to New Undertale, which is called the Sonya and The Pebble Saga, which is my Undertale AU sequel, that was done as well, and features Hubie, Marina, Rocko, Drake, and Fidget. (My artstyle was rather shocking for me looking back. 😅). Also jumping back to New Undertale, Samantha had two boyfriend potentials: a human teen named Brett Runad, and a skeleton boyfriend named Corbel Boneson. But from the added story plots, Drake became Samantha's boyfriend, and Brett was rewritten as one of the gang's bullies, and Corbel was scrapped. Also Samantha was given a school rival named Carly Carson, who is jealous of Samantha for everything about her, though Samantha doesn't like having troubles with her.

I'll post some Hearttale concept art later, but I thought of sharing some of this being near five to six years of drawing all this. ☺
