So as some of you FNAF Fans believed that Glitchtrap is the Mimic that is mimicking William Afton's behaviors when some circuit boards were scan into the game code for FNAF Help Wanted to sped up development. The Mimic1 program is an artificial intelligence from the 1980s meant to learn and mimic any human behavior it sees that turned aggressive after being assaulted by its creator, before learning about and seeking to fully replicate William Afton's crimes. After being shut down and stopped for several decades, the Mimic was accidentally brought back when Fazbear Entertainment scanned an old circuit board (Which could be Springtrap's holding remant of William Afton) while making a VR game, causing him to return as a supernatural malware known as Glitchtrap.

But before the Mimic was revealed to be his own character and the true identity of Glitchtrap/Burntrap, most fans thought he was just William Afton back from the dead. So what if Glitchtrap simply being William Afton with his spirit and consciousness trapped inside The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience was confirmed?
