Description
So there is a fan game called Super Smash Bros Crusade where you get to play the most interesting characters unlike Super Smash Flash 2. Basically people have been adding more characters to the roster thanks to the word I like to call...*clears throat* MODS.
There are official fighters for the entire fan game itself but in order to add them, you have to download their files, edit some notepads, file a file somewhere else, and test it out on your game. It's just like Sonic World where everyone creates a wide variety of modded characters to play as and test it out for fun.
So without further or due, here are the modded characters that I want to be in Super Smash Bros Crusade (or GameBanana).

Classic Sonic - Sonic
Ah yes, the classic original Sonic we all remembered since 1991 and has made it back in 2011 and 2017. I remember that there is a playable mod of NES Mario which he is just Mario but younger and more vintage, so why not Sonic from the past too (note: Classic Sonic is not from the other dimension). Much like his modern self, he can run very fast when you try to mode as him. In final smash, he turns super of course, to become invincible.

Springtrap - FNAF
William Afton, the purple murderer from the FNAF series has killed himself on accident by wearing a SpringBonnie suit and turns into Springtrap. He could work as a fighter since one modded character Foxy has made it. Since he is William Afton, of course he might use a knife or just suffocate another random fighter. He can even scare a fighter. In final smash, he will summon the phantom animatronics to jumpscare all fighters away (note: they will jumpscare you in screen too.)

Nightmare Fredbear - FNAF
I am honestly not a big fan of FNAF 4 since it really does give me nightmare fuel, but much like Springtrap, he could work too as a fighter too. He is vicious after all, so he will slash you with his claws, bite you like it's "The Bite of 87", turn into a plush, and turn invisible. So he might be pretty OP when he has the ability to do those stuff. In final smash, everything blinks to black and Fredbear jumpscares the screen and the fighters away.

Mickey Mouse - Epic Mickey
No, it's not the famous Mickey you all know about in media, it's actually the Mickey from an old Wii game where he paints to defend himself. He is suitable to fight anyway since he has a weapon and prove that not all mascots need to be all-joy. Much like Inkling, you have to refill your paint powers to continue fighting. In final smash, he spins out a giant paint tornedo so he can get rid of the fighters.

NiGHTS - NiGHTS
One of Sega's successes since Sonic has a lot of games. She has the ability to enter someone's dreams to make them joyful. She even even transform into anything and fly across the entire sky. The main thing about her for her games is to go through hoops. In final smash, she will duplicate herself to attack fast in the entire stage, familiar to Sonic's.

Coco Bandicoot - Crash
Crash has made it to the official roster of the game, so why not his sister Coco as well. I mean, she roughly does the same moveset as Crash since she is related to him, but she is advanced with the intelligent stuff. Much like Crash, she will have Aku Aku with her so she will be protected. In final smash, she does the same invincibility mask power as Crash does.

Kaos - Skylanders
The main villain of the Skylanders franchise Kaos would be amazing as a fighter. He is literal OP. He has all elemental powers and he can take more damage against the fighters. In case you don't know Skylanders, it's a toys to life game franchise where you play as heroic action figures that are now on T.V.. He can summon doom sharks and all ten elemental powers to use. In final smash, he uses his doom head power and shoots lasers from his eyes at the fighters.

RAT - FNAC
The mysterious animatronic from the FNAC series is going to be more insane in Smash than in the game he was based on. Don't know what Five Nights at Candy's is? It's a fan game of FNAF made by Emil Macko that has great ideas of how it can work with storytelling and mysteries to be solved with Mary Schmidt's character arc of why she was scared of the RAT in the first place. RAT himself is terrifying, he partners up with his old pal the CAT and become monsters in Mary Schmidt's dreams. He even hides in every camera so you don't see him back in the first FNAC. In final smash, he will jumpscare of course.

Henry Stickmin - Henry
Ha! Boom baby! Henry Stickmin is the exact character that we all wanted to play as in Smash Crusade. He does everything. He can teleport with a teleporter, he can break into a bank, he can escape prison, he can steal a diamond, he can stop the evil air force, he can escape the wall, he can complete the mission, and he can even do the iconic distraction dance. Plus, he can make a ton of references from games and media which makes his game franchise funny. In final smash, he calls Charles to crash down his helicopter to the entire stage.

Wreck-It Ralph - Ralph
He maybe a Disney character, but he is also an arcade character as well. He is the villain of the game he is in, Fix It Felix JR. He helps Vanellope win the race and succeed her goals into the internet world. Much like the name, he wrecks things. In final smash, he can wreck the entire stage to smash the fighters away from existence.

Godzilla - Godzilla
The legendary giant lizard monster will be very extreme for Smash Crusade. He is very huge, but he won't be THAT huge otherwise he will be unplayable. He should at least be way bigger than Ridley, Petey Piranha, Porky, and Bowser. He can claw slash and tail spin in front of the fighters. In final smash, he can shoot his atomic breath at the fighters.

Scrat - Ice Age
A great mascot of a dead animation studio and comedic main character of the Ice Age franchise. He is a cronopio squirrel that is obsessed with acorns so he ended up making nothing but dangerous mistakes which causes Sid, Manny, and Diego to return the baby, stop the flood, survive in the dinosaur land, sail across the ocean, and take down a giant meteor. He should use his same moveset from a previous Ice Age game "Scrat's Nutty Adventure" where he uses his combat skills and throw acorns at fighters. In final smash, he stuffs an acorn on the stage floor causing the two glaciers to close in to crush the fighters as a reference to the beginning to the first film.

Balan - Balan Wonderworld
Controversial, but I do decently like Balan Wonderworld. Well, despite the boring gameplay and poor quality, I really like the story, animation, characters, and soundtrack. Which makes me have an idea of adding the main character himself Balan into the list of character mods. Sure, he may do nothing since he is unplayable in the game he was based on, but the way he uses his powers and abilities is so BA. He can duplicate, fly, break giant objects, teleport, and even get a little help with the Tims. In final smash, he will do his show stage dance from the opening cutscene of his game and send all fighters far away from the stage.

Keroro - SGT Frog
I freaking love SGT Frog. It's the most hilarious Japanese-animated show ever made. So apparently he would be cool in a Crusade mod since he does have two fighting games before. I mean, he cannot really defend himself since he is small, but he can defend himself when he is on a special Keronian mech he is using to fight. He can use combat skills, rocket missiles, and use his Kero ball. In final smash, he summons the A.R.M.P.I.T. Platoon to attack every fighter on stage.

Tom & Jerry - Tom & Jerry
The most popular silent duo of all time are back for more violence and wackiness. Of course they have to team up together so they can defeat a fighter, just like the Ice Climbers where you play two characters as one player. They do a lot of movesets. They can hammer, set up a trap, swing an iron, tase them with a hand buzzer, and even do classic Tom screams when falling off the stage and in star K.O.. In final smash, they both form a fighting cloud when a fighter gets too close to them so the fighters get sucked in and get lots of damage from their fighting, so all fighters all went in star K.O. after that.
