I love Rodan, but I think Anguirus is very popular as well XD." - I don't get it either why Anguirus isn't in the lineup since he was Godzilla's first opponent, but I do understand part of why and it has to do with the fact that Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah and MechaGodzilla made more appearances throughout the majority of the franchise, that's why they were used more than any other in their roster in every series, that's why Varan and Anguirus were replaced in GMK, and that is why Legendary picked three of them to appear in the MonsterVerse Godzilla sequel.

Anyway, thanks for liking my art, man, you should see the alternate versions I made for them. 🙂

True, but Anguirus had appeared in many video games including Godzilla PS4 game, and that anecdote should make him more popular..a proof of that he got popularity in for years was when Shogo Tomiyama refused to use Anguirus as the dead monster found in the beach in Tokyo SOS because that would create a negative reaction in his fans, since he is a fan favourite..I do understand Varan's case..but I find it kinda sad because many times TOHO planned major roles for Varan in scripts that were scrapped, like GMK.

I find kinda funny the fact that both were replaced in GMK, except Baragon..Don't get me wrong, I love Baragon too and I liked a lot his role in GMK, it's just that he doesn't seem to be that popular, since he appeared in less movies and games than Rodan and Anguirus. Not complaining, just a funny observation .

I wish that Legendary can consider to add Anguirus in the Monsterverse as well.

• "True, but Anguirus had appeared in many video games including Godzilla PS4 game" That is true, but then there's "Godzilla: Domination" (GBA) where the majority of the roster consisted of The Big Five (Megalon being just an extra bonus) and not ONE Godzilla game, or any media for that matter, ever left out any of the members of the Five (outside of Godzilla, of course).

" I hope so too if they decide to continue it for a few more movies, but let's just take what we're getting right now. In the world of business, money talks, and if the studio sees how much money their monster movies are making, that could spark an interest to include a few other Toho kaiju in the mix if, like I said, they decide to continue after "Godzilla vs. Kong".

I didn't remember that Godzilla Domnination had such little roster LOL. I think I understand why I saw lots of times Rodan making some cameos like in some The Simpsons' episodes, in Freakazoid, etc...

I don't know if this counts, but in Godzilland OVAs from the 90's, the cast were the most popular Godzilla monsters (with Gojirin as just an eclusive character of the anime ovas, never to be seen again, LOL) and among them Anguirus appeared. Either way

Well that's true, is better to take what we are getting for now like you say, and wait to see what would be the results in the box office of both Godzilla vs Kong and Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and see if after that they get money and success enough to add Anguirus or any other else in the monsterverse, since I understand that they plan to make a ''Destroy all Monsters'' in the Monsterverse..

If not, then probably in the new TOHO Godzilla movies like the anime trilogy ones, specially since TOHO is now using ideas that haven't used before, LOL.

At least that's what I suppose XD.
