They are...Darkwing Duck and the Gargoyles!

It’s the Disney version of Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as heroes and villains from both worlds of two Disney Afternoon shows team up for a crossover you’ve never seen it coming since the Darkwing Duck/DuckTales crossover, Dangerous Currency.

It all starts in the city of St. Canard, a metropolis overrun with the worst kind of crime: super crime. And like any other major metropolis, it has problems with the criminal element. But a purple protector stands alone, dutifully watching for any crime that will come to and stand in his way.

From Megavolt to Bushroot to Quackerjack and beyond, the masked mallard, Darkwing Duck, already has his hands full protecting the city with the much-needed help from Gosalyn and Launchpad McQuack. Now a series of raids and thefts leads our daring duck of mystery to believe he’s up against an emerging new enemy - Demona from Gargoyles!? Somehow, Demona had crossed over to St. Canard and is now unleashed upon an unsuspecting cartoonish world. Now Demona is determined to find a way to return home...all while destroying and conquering St. Canard in the process, with the help of Darkwing Duck’s nefarious ne’er-do-wells. But she didn’t come alone: The Manhatten Clan, consist of Goliath, Hudson, Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway, Bronx, Angela, and their human friend, NYPD second-class detective Elisa Maza, are all hot on Demona’s trail.

Trapped in a cartoonish world in the city of St. Canard where they can tell friend from foe or not, the Gargoyles’ encounter with the Duck Knight puts their skills to the test. And while Darkwing tried to figure out where these strange gargoyles come from (New York, Manhattan, obviously.), a fiendish alliance unfolds behind the scenes as Demona strikes a deal with one of Darkwing’s most formidable foes! (If you can guess that it’s Negaduck or Steelbeak, whoo-pee-doo.)

Soon, the Manhattan Clan and Elisa take up residence at the Mallard Residence and the Audubon Bay Bridge, adapting, much to Darkwing’s dismay at first. But now he’s going to put aside his strong hostility toward his uninvited guests as Darkwing, Launchpad, and Gosalyn join forces with Goliath, Hudson, Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway, Bronx, Angela, and Elisa to take down the most dangerous villains from two worlds!
