Description
what is in a wound?we never really understand
how it got there
why it hurts
we only see...
the hurting
the confusion
the impression that it will last forever
simply because it's here today
yet inside every wound
beneath all of the tears
and blood
and flesh
there is the ability and the power and the opporitunity
for healing
without pain or hurt, healing would have no meaning
if we dwell on the hurt
we are doubt the healing
scar tissue is like a badge
you can look at it and remember...
how much the pain made you scream
or how it got you to where you are
but even though during that most distressful time
you curse, and sobb, and die
it gives you life
for the soul never dies...

I know where each and every scar I have came from and why...I remember what emotion I was feeling, the situation, and sometimes I cry and scream of the remembrance and sometimes I look @ it and I am proud that it has not reopened.....that I have passed through that situation and the pain and that I have survived
