I may not be a fan of the whole belly expansion fetish thing, but I can certainly say this, with me basically being a big locomotive fanatic, I can say that Icy is pretty much right on every level.

I like how these two interact, with Icy seemingly just wanting to be left alone and Lava taking the role of 'that lunatic who always hangs around you, but telling 'em to piss off would just be cruel no matter how exasperating their antic are'-type introverts friend.
And is this the first time we've seen Lava speak? 'Cause her dialogue gives off the impression that she's the kind whose goal in life is to have fun, consequences be damned. It's quite cute, really.

She's spoken once before I believe. But yeah, you got their relationship somewhat accurately. It's mostly when Lava wants to have fun exploding does Icy get likes this. Cause Lava does this stuff a lot.
