Hey all, this is the first, of probably a few, sets of zanpakutou that I've created over the years, but polished up and well presented.. instead of horrible scraps and sketches in the front and back of my school books. Hope you guys like 'em.Aldrnari & Vatn are fire and water elemental-type zanpakutou
Fiskrbein is a strange melee-type that appears to cut you with random incorporeal blades
Vehemence is a powerful kidou-type zanpakutou that will quickly debilitate you into exhaustion if you are not careful.

Here all all the names (and brief definitions for the english names):
Zanpakutou Set 1:
- Aldrnari & Vatn: Pretty simple, it is old norse for 'Fire & Water'
- Vehemence: definition: zealous, ardent, characterised by rancor or anger; violent = vehement hostility
- Fiskrbein: old norse for 'Fishbone' lol
Zanpakutou Set 2:
- Tempestro: simple word combo of Tempest (to describe wind and storm) and making it masculine, (ie. in italian, many masculine names end with 'o' while many feminine names and words end with 'a', ie. if Tempestro were feminine, it would be Tempestra)
- Venenato & Lacerata: latin (italian) for Venom/poisoned/poison and 'torn to pieces (Laceration or to Lacerate)
- Stalwart Panther: Definition: strongly and robustly built, brave, valiant, steadfast. And Panther, lol.
Zanpakutou Set 3:
- Los Arboles & Los Minerales: Spanish for the Trees and the Minerals (the earth)
- Penumbra: definition: a penumbra is the partial or imperfect shadow outside the complete shadow of an opaque body, where the light source is only partly cut off. Compare to 'umbra' (that is, complete shadowing)

thanks, and i was just a little curious, i could name off the ones like los arboles and los minerales because i know a little spanish, and fiskrbein is almost a givin, but i dont know even a little italian. So.....yeah, thanks again

I love searching different languages and giving them different and unique names, unlike the general bleach fanbase it would seem.. who all seem to follow an 'everybody is Japanese' naming scheme'. What about the rest of the world? Surely there will be Soul Society bases in other parts of the world, unless the Soul Society manages the whole planet lol

If i had to pick one I think I would pick "Fishbone". Granite, the others are still amazing and really interesting, but I love the fishbone because it seemes like a weapon I would really use!

Mmm.. Thats where the inspiration came from initially, as well as a 'spiritual energy draining hollow' in one of the filler episodes in bleach. I suppose the same way Samehada (i think thats what Kisame's sword is called) grows larger and more like a giant sharkskin snake, Vehemence's crystal is like a physical manifestation of how much energy it contains at the moment. I suppose so that it isnt overpowered he can access this spiritual energy and use it to augment the Soul Reaper's ability, however it consumes the stored energy and must consume more.. lol.
