Description

It had stopped raining for like 15 minutes, enough for ponies to start coming out of their homes again. Not many were out because it seems like the clouds were threatening to pour again, but light was slowly showing through once again. Perhaps the weather pegasi have gotten things under control? Either that or they were trying to, unsure of what’s happened. Discord was taking a stroll as he was trying to figure out something. Ever since this morning, he’s felt like something was off. Almost like something had entered this world without his permission.
Before, he went to visit Fluttershy, his best friend, to see if she saw anything strange, but the only information he got was a very toothy looking Pegasus that scared one of the ducks. He teleported himself at the entrance of the marketplace where he looked to the side to see a basket of tomatoes. He smiled as he snapped his lionlike claws and they came to life with little legs to run to him and little mouths that just made noises like “nom nom” a bunch. They all came up to Discord and he ordered, “I want you to go search through Ponyville for anything new. If anything is out of place, let me know ASAP.” The yelling tomatoes jumped in understanding and started to scatter in all directions.
Discord then waited, noticing that the pegasi above were trying to stop a thunderstorm from forming. He waited a few moments more and was instantly bored. He started to look around to find the source of this odd feeling. He then heard one of his tomatoes screaming in the background. He looked and saw some pony eating it as it made its screaming sounds and tried to escape.
He glared at the pony and went up to them, “You know it’s rude to eat other’s minions.”
The gray pegasus with large wings and wearing goggles looked up. She then tossed back the bitten tomato and it ran away, “Aw well, it was a bit bitter anyway. Weird.” They said. It seemed to be female, however, the more they talked, the more he heard the sounds of static in her voice. Though it was mostly faint.
Discord wondered if this was the pony that was out of place of the rest. Or not even a pony at all… “I wasn’t expecting to see some average pegasus pony.”
She looked confused, “And you mean this how? Though I guess that means I did a good job with this diet I'm totally on. Hah!” She joked. She then looked at him, “So what are you? Some mistake child or something?”
Discord crossed his arms with a pout, “How rude! I am the lord of Chaos! You may call me Discord, pony who does not belong here!”
She chuckled, showing off her sharp teeth, “Yeah, and I’m the lord of waffles…. You can just call me Waffle. So tell me, how does it feel to be secretly disliked in town? You know, after all your mistakes?”
Discord then began to look serious, “What are you talking about? Everyone loves me.” He seemed sure about it, but still there was a hint of doubt in his voice, which she noticed.
“Yeah? Why do they avoid you then? Except that fluttering shy pony. She must really pity you…”
Discord looked angered by this, “We are friends now. She does not pity me, she's just very nice.”
Waffle cocked her head to the side, curious, “Really now? Has she said anything along the lines of ‘Oh I feel so bad for him’? That’s usually pity that is happening.”
Discord was now furious, “You think you know everything? I know everything! I’ve made a few mistakes, but the six knows me and I've changed. Everything I do is for the better, and they know it! Whatever you are, you are really walking on thin ice.”
She just chuckled, “I wonder if I should make another visit to see your precious Fluttershy pony~”
His eyes then glowed red of pure hatred. “I won’t let you even touch her…” She chuckled, “Who said that I needed to touch her?”
Discord was going to snap his fingers to take that grin off her face, but realized that that would just prove her right about him. He covered his face with his claws and once he looked back to her, she was gone. Her presence was now far away. He took this time to feel a little saddened.
