Description
this picture is probably going to be the best thing i've ever drawn. and this is just a preview of a bigger picture that I'm working on. So this is lionblaze and its lineless! the first lineless i've ever drawn! the whole picture(two more cats) is going to also be lineless and I have big hopes for it. Hope you like! Please fave and or comment because I love feedback! and, as always, please critique!lionblaze(c)Erin Hunter

Impact
Hi there, first thing I would like to say is that considering that this is line less, I am very impressed as line less drawings can be very tough.
Originality
The nice part about doing fan art based on books is that is open to more interpretation than film or video game fan art and gives you real scope to make this your own.
Technique
As I said before, very nice picture and I can see good skills as line less art is very difficult (in my opinion), the anatomy is generally good and the colouration is nice.
I love the way you have highlighted the eyes and the snout is the right length.
You have done well not to elevate the paws and haunches too much (I find that can be a common mistake) and although I would like to point out just a couple of mistakes:
1) Try and make sure that the paws that are on the side of the cat we can't see are higher up and a little bit smaller than the ones on the side we can see. This adds realism and more depth to the picture.
2)Don't be tempted to make a cat's fur completely flat and smooth, especially on the tip of the tail and the belly as a real cat doesn't have perfectly flat and smooth fur.
3) Also try varying the direction of the fur a little bit (but that's me being fussy as I said, the colouration is fine)
Impact
I love the expression on his face and it makes me wonder what is it is exactly he is looking at.
Summery
Overall I like it, a few improvements to be made here and there but otherwise I think it is very good e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

thanks! Really all I do is draw a bunch of lines going in the direction that the fur should over top of a base color, then I add slightly darker and lighter tones in the appropriate areas. its rather easy, but it is time consuming. :3
