Kataang! :3Top left is from The Melon Lord Approves' fanfic "Katara & the Avatar", the scene where Katara says "For the record, Aang, you were my hero long before you were the world's hero" (so cute :3333)
Top right is my own little reunion headcanon and the pics below it besides the adult aang one are all in sequence XD
and like i mentioned, the older!Aang pic stands on its own as a more accurate aging-up if you may, of our favorite avatar. XDD

I love that story 'Katara & the Avatar' so far, but I'm really bad at waiting patiently for Melon to update all those stories! I'm eagerly waiting for some more 'Almost Airbenders', but it's been so long, and I know Melon's a busy busy girl; I just hope it hasn't been forgotten. I love how you do fanart to stories. I admire your work, then go over to FF and admire your inspiration. You have introduced me to most of my favorite authors in this way, so thank you. Are their any more authors or stories you would recommend?

that was something that just kinda became my thing I guess. i've been drawing for about 7 years now and when I got into ATLA fanfiction I started drawing scenes from them i guess XD glad you enjoy them.
Idk what all stories you've seen or read. Amira elizabeth is great. KaylaBelle (on tumblr she's thelittleturtleduck) is very good, umm you'd have to list the ones you have, I have so many little favorite stories here and there from various writers XD

Liselle129 is great, a little older more mature tone of voice, but still good headcanons and stuff. XD I recommend her Avatar in training. and the retelling of the third season one. both long but good.

Like I said, she's a busy girl, but I'm not good at waiting patiently. My personal headcanon says Aang and Katara were already together before that final kiss in the show (they seemed pretty familiar in that make-out session), but I'm curious where and how far Melon is going to take it. The story I want most is still Almost Airbenders, side characters need love too, and the premise is too good for me to resist.
I've read and enjoyed all of the authors you mentioned, I have been following all of them for a while now. I especially like Kaylabelle's Kataang family stories. Usually I find a story I like, then the author, and follow their links to other authors, though a lot of them you introduced me to. Thanks again. Some authors I like a lot are Light-Eco-Sage and DJNS. One of my favorite and somewhat random stories is 'Running Interference' [link] . It's just goofy fun with Aang and Zuko trying to avoid a pissed-off Katara, while making fun of what seems to be a common theme in Kataangst fanfics.
I'm actually trying to write my own one-shot to go with a picture I've been working on, but it's harder than I thought. There are phrases I want to use and several of my own headcanons bouncing around attempting to form a coherent story, but I've got no idea what to do with it. I haven't written fiction or for my own entertainment since elementary school. That would be the mid nineties, so it's been a while.

I'm close to the new semester's start. 
This year I go all year long. I'll be interning next month, then I'll get another month of free time (that isn't really free because of optional subjects) Then, I will no longer get any vacation from July on. After that, I graduate. :3
