She screamed and clawed at the door as if begging it to open before she was torn away from it.

The knife, the knife- her mind screamed. Where was it? His hands- his hands were grabbing her. She didn't feel anything, no cuts, no sharp pain. The stab never came.

Sarah fought, her wide eyes searching constantly as Lee held her tightly against him. He was moving, carrying her fighting body to the basement.

No- no not there- she had just escaped that empty cement hole.

She cried out a mix of anathemas and prayers, her eyes going bleary from the tears. She never saw his face, but Leander's hands held her tightly without failure. He was far stronger than she was.

It was like the times he'd playfully hold Sarah down in the backseat of his SUV. He was enormous compared to her, Leander's arms, which had once been so soft, constricted around her abdomen.

Leander was holding her so tightly against him, he was choking the breath from her lungs. Sarah's kicks became less frenzied, her arms dropped. She didn't remember him carrying her all the way down to the very basement again, but she was conscious again when they reached, a little air making it through her tight lips.

They came to one of the many doors and Leander threw it open while the other held her close to him. Without a word, he dropped her into the room where Sarah crumpled to her knees, choking, and the door shut behind her with a slam.

She only allowed herself a moment to recover. She couldn't be here again, she had just gotten free. Sarah scrambled to her feet. There was a plain mattress. A sink. A toilet. No windows, no other doors. No escape. It was just a cement box, they were so far down no one would be able to hear her, there were no windows to escape from.

She flew from one side of the room to the other for some amount of time looking for any means to chisel her way out but she didn't find anything. Suddenly, the door opened again and before even thinking twice she ran through it, her dress flapping at her bare thighs, feet slapping the ground. She made it to the main door again, almost like reliving a memory, but this time it was locked.

"Its not going to open, Sarah," she heard the deep whisper coming from behind her, but somewhere further away.

She turned, her eyes clawing across the room to Leander who stood under a flickering yellow light. He had cleaned himself up, nothing remained of the blood except for the slightly dark red stain on his otherwise black shirt.

He had the chocolate cake she had brought over in his hands.

Lee smiled gently at her, raising the cake in his hands an inch and taking a step towards her. "I love this cake, thank you... You look amazing, you know."

"Fuck-" Sarah whispered, combing her hands through her hair as they shakily came back down. This was a fucking dream, there was no way this was real.

"I really wish you had called," he said in a low voice, somehow keeping that smile even when the warm look had left his eyes cold and empty.

She laughed pitifully and her back hit the door as she slumped lower. "I did when I first got here, you didn't hear me." Tears were coming down her cheeks again and Sarah held her shaking hands out in front of her.

"Look, I wish you hadn't seen that," Leander said ruefully scratching his neck as if she had just caught him cheating on a diet. He put the cake down on the only counter in the empty cement room and walked toward her, shoulders rolling up as he looked away from her. "I'm sure it was very confusing, I get it. But trust me, if you knew those people-"

"What are you doing?" Sarah whispered in horror. Her brow was scrunched up as she hedged along the wall. She wouldn't be able to escape, but adrenaline was pumping through her. "Are you trying to get me to sympathize with you? Are you trying to freaking brainwash me, Lee? My dad is a fucking cop, you don't think I know what you are?" Her chest was heaving with rage, trying to take in as much oxygen as it could, pushing herself to the furthest corner of the room like a wild animal confronted by the most dangerous thing it had ever seen. "You're a fucking monster, I saw you literally eating people."

His eyes hardened into two cobalt stones, the darkest Sarah had ever seen them and Leander took only one step toward her, but this was the most scared she had ever been of him. "Please- the police kill people all the time. The only difference is that I'm better at cleaning up my messes and I only kill the jerks."

He took a smooth step towards Sarah, movingly slowly he looked more dangerous, that haunting smile still tracing his lips as it sat underneath two dark blue eyes. "Maybe you're just afraid you know I'm right." Leander's black hair obscured his brow but he was looking down at her through slits.

"Get the fuck away from me," she hissed, seething, preparing to claw- to attack with everything left in her so everyone would see the scars on him.

He was creeping towards her, cornering her. Sarah made the mistake of looking at the corner she planned to run for so when she did, Leander grabbed her by the waist and threw her on top of the only bed. She landed with soft thud but the metal frame cried out in agony as Leander followed and placed his huge body on top of hers to pin it down.

Sarah let out a gasp with the weight as one hand held hers together and the other braced itself on the bed rail. His eyes were fierce now, they were so dark it hurt her to look into them.

"I'm still the same Lee," he said breathlessly, probably since this was more activity than he had done in the last year. Sweat had beaded down his cheek as he looked down at Sarah unhappily.

His belly was unbearably full and it groaned against her abdomen as Sarah shuddered, closing her eyes tightly. The fabric of his cotton shirt rubbed up against the inner part of her thigh as he held her down against the bed.

"It's not a big deal," Leander whispered in a deep husky voice which was thick from the burdensome weight of the meal sitting undigested in his stomach.

Unaware of her reaction Leander leaned more of himself onto her, his breathing heavy from the work it took to hold his massive body with just an arm on the metal railin. But all Sarah felt was the squelching gurgling bulge of his stomach pressed up against her. Her insides writhed. This wasn't- it wasn't- she wriggled underneath him, only becoming more conscious of the ache throbbing between her parted thighs. Leander stared at her in confusion until he saw the hot blush on her face.

The position was stiff and Lee shifted his hips forward to adjust so that the tight distended belly pushed squarely on top of her and Leander felt the tremble course through Sarah but it wasn't from fear.

She was turned on.

Even after everything she knew. She was turned on by him. Her blush was searing the skin of her cheek, Leander couldn't believe he hadn't seen that before. With a gentle smile that wasn't at all kind, he released the bed rail and he leaned so closely he could whisper into her ear.

Her heart was hammering and rippling against his full chest. It was hammering for him. He could feel it.

"You know I've always liked this dress, it's pretty sexy," he whispered against her throbbing ear, his soft bottom lip tracing against the lobe. He wanted to show her he could be gentle. He could kill people but he would be gentle with her. "You're beautiful."

Squeezing her eyes tight, Sarah wrenched one of her arms free and pushed him away from her, only succeeding on making him move a little as his pelvis still dug into hers.

Leander remembered himself and with some effort, pushed himself back onto his feet while Sarah curled up against the metal bed frame.

"Sorry," he said while massaging his full stomach, tender from the workout he had put himself through that day. It plopped heavily on top of his thighs. "I know I overstepped."

It didn't matter now though, he knew on some level she had liked it. He was going to bring that part out, he was going to nurture the woman who loved him. And he was going to kill the rest.

Sarah cringed there silently, shocked, horrified, a hand cupped over her mouth as she shrank in on herself, unable to move.

Leander watched her, trying to hide the smile although it wanted to spread across his face. He walked, back turned to Sarah, and unlocked the door.

"Goodnight, I'll see you in the morning," Leander said in a soft and sweet voice before he closed it on her.

As he walked up the basement stairs, a scream clawed its way up from Sarah's throats before it died into a wounded moan.
